Ideal little b&b for a...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, parking available, good selection of things for children to do, some books and board games and a pool table in the lounge/bar area. My daughter enjoyed the karaoke there in the evening too. Breakfast had a good choice and something for everyone, even myself who is gluten free. Staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout.
Disliked: We stayed in April and found the rooms were very very warm in the evening, we had the radiators off and window slightly open and still found it very hot. A number of other guests said the same too. The karaoke was great fun but it was very loud and when it was time for us to get some sleep we found it difficult due to the karaoke being on quite late (past midnight at the weekend) We didn't mention this or complain as we wouldn't want to spoil anyone else's fun but it did make it difficult to get to sleep so maybe something to bare in mind if you're not much of a night owl!
