The Blair Victoria Hotel

Good

Liked: Fantastic location 7 min walk from Victoria train station on the street with many caffes and restaurants and close to main landmarks of London. Clean room with nice shower.
Disliked: Room was extremely small, pretty much the size of the double bed, soo small you can't even open the door fully, it hits the bed (we stayed in room 307). For one night it was fine, but I would not return nor recommend this hotel to anyone staying longer then 1 night.

Great location , clean rooms...

Liked: Fantastic location especially if you arriving into Victoria station from Gatwick as we were. Rooms were compact but clean and had tea/coffee facilities in room & beds were comfy. Ample towels & complimentary bathroom products . Easy & safe area to walk about at night especially as a woman with ample choice of restaurants for dinner and cafes for breakfast.Reception staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel charge £5 per bag to leave luggage for the day which is handy .
Disliked: There is no lift and it’s a narrow tall building so if you were on top floor like us it’s a lot of narrow stairs to climb with luggage . Our shower room had a very damp musty smell so kept the door closed and bought an air freshener to try to mask it . Think it was due to lack of window or adequate ventilation.Some street noise and other guests voices could be heard but was not too bad considering location. The reception area is sparse without any seating . Would have been nice to have a sofa or chairs for guests when waiting to be booked in.

A great location, close to...

Liked: Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were lovely. Our room was convenient.
Disliked: The milk provided had curdled. We asked at reception for extra - they gave it without question.

Exceptional

Disliked: Same staff member on every day who seemed tired and disinterested? was never rude just not much credible customer service skills

Disliked: There is urine smell and rooms are very small there was air in my bed

Disliked: A bit squishy and not much natural light.

Liked: Clean, modern and quiet.Jay was outstanding member of staff and accommodated me.

Liked: Ideal location for Victoria and those that don't mind walking (30-40 minutes on foot to Westminster and Natural History Museum)Air conditioning worked perfectly.
Disliked: Room was smaller than expected, nowhere to store clothing outside of a suitcase. Unusual odour from drains in bathroom.

Lovely, quiet, affordable hotel close...

Liked: Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and is the centrally located while being in a nice quiet street. We arrived too early to check-in but reception kindly stored our bags while we explored the city. We had a late flight home so reception again stored our luggage for a small fee. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The House on Warwick.
