Disliked: Poo & other body stains on the velvet chair in the room and the legs were loose. It was reported to reception & I took photos. The windows were not double glazed so it was noisy from High Street traffic & they were draughty.

Disliked: Where do I begin. Let's start with checking in. Was asked to pay £144 for the room when the price was secured (6 months ago with Booking.com) at £85 and paid up them (not at end of stay). Staff clueless but not their fault as very young and obviously not sufficiently trained. No iron....not even one that can be shared among guests. Bathroom needs updating and nowhere to put toiletries, except floor. Didn't have breakfast but my niece did which was terrible. Sliced bread was frozen. Stayed there a few times before but won't be going back there. It wasnt just myself that was asked to pay more than the fixed price as other family had the same "welcome". Apparently under new ownership and expecting to compete with the Falcondale and if they continue with that approach, the hotel won't be open for much longer....sorry to say.
