Need to fix heater in...

Liked: Both the breakfast staff have been nice, efficient and helpful.The other staff tried to help with the malfunctioning heater remotely. However, it is not successful. She then brought a small bathroom heater to my room. Although the small heater didn't really help much, I did sincerely appreciate her efforts.
Disliked: The heater in the room is not working. It is a big deal for visitors coming from much warmer Asian countries. The temperature below 10 Celcius or low teens is considered cold winter temperatures in Asia although it is probably nice early summer for Canterbury.The booking was for 2 person and 2 nites. My friend decided to leave early after the 1st night. I stayed on for the 2nd and actually caught a cold!

A pleasant stay

Liked: My attic room was pretty much as I was expecting based on the photos that I'd seen when booking the room. I enjoyed my breakfast in the morning, there was a good choice of cereals and juices followed by a full English which was delicious.I enjoyed the views from the room and had a comfortable night's sleep.
Disliked: The heating appeared to come on automatically and I could not work out whether it was possible to turn the radiator down or off as I felt too hot at one point during my stay. The TV remote didn't work all that well, maybe the batteries needed replacing. The bathroom is very compact with sloping ceiling which meant using the shower was difficult. The shower head could not be adjusted very easily due to the height restrictions. The water was scalding hot and even the cold tap was lukewarm.

Very comfortable stay

Liked: Very good room. Warm and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Also very well located
Disliked: The pillows were not the best in my opinion, and had a bit of neck pain one of the mornings.

Disliked: There was an issue with accepting payment on the hotels side through booking, which was resolved at the end however I’d appretiate they would have a better procedure of handling those things.
