Lovely city, great staff and...

Liked: There was lots to like. Quirky and lovely staff. The garden was delightful too.
Disliked: We had booked for two adults but the bedroom and bed was a single, so a little squashed!

I travelled to Canterbury for...

Liked: It hotel is peaceful and quiet, I was never disturbed by any type of noise. The breakfast was traditional and well cooked.
Disliked: The toaster should be positioned away from the kettle for safety reasons.

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff.Nice garden, decent breakfast.
Disliked: The carpet and the mattress (room 3) were clearly in need of replacement.

A great location in this...

Liked: This is a great location in a quiet street very near the railway station and city centre. The Inn used to be a pub so has the character of one. Pillows, towels and sheets were all top quality. Breakfast was a surprise and plentiful with variety both continental and cooked.
Disliked: The 'small double' applied to both the room and the bed. Both manageable, but we would have preferred a larger bed. We would also have preferred an earlier check-in time but we were messaged when the room was ready so we did check-in as soon as we could.

Liked: I could check it early and drop off my bags after check out. Near by city center and Canterbury West train station. Just a walk distance.The room was cleaned, all the staffs were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was really good.
Disliked: The room is too small for 2 people but for 1 person is fine. The weather was hot, no air conditioner, even provided a fan in the room and opened all the windows but it was still hot. I think much better in winter.
