Liked: Incredibly comfortable bed and so quiet despite being quite busy. Staff absolutely lovely. Breakfast great and had dinner one night which was very good too. Lots of things to do within easy reach.

Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable beds and spacious well designed room on the ground floor. Beautiful pub. Excellent food. Genuinely dog friendly. Quiet location large car park close to accommodation. Hot drink and biscuits available in the room.

Excellent place to stay -...

Liked: I always sleep very well when I stay at the Bird in Hand. The beds are very comfortable. I love the toiletries, fluffy towels are well sized, pillows super flooofy and plump, and the food is amazing for evening and breakfast. I love that I can make my own cafetière for breakfast. I’ve also stayed with my puppy too and they were very accommodating. Love that!
Disliked: My only downfall (and they can’t do much about it) is that I can’t easily go for a walk due to the location being on a high speed road and on a dodgy bend.
