Liked: Booking .com confirmed the hotel had responded it could offer twin beds.., on arrival it said it couldn’t without my paying a further £25 for twin beds.. the youngish staff were snooty condescending and inflexible

A pleasant stay and nice...

Liked: Period charm and super location.
Disliked: Cramped in the car park and had to pay £20 for it. This could be better organized.

Fantastic hotel and location

Liked: Lovely staff, fantastic location, good facilities and tasty breakfast.
Disliked: Only issue was the shower leaked on the bathroom floor. From the water damage this looks to happen often.

Disliked: Felt it was overpriced, stayed cosy king at £300 per night, nice room, small with tiny shower, nowhere to put toiletries, bedside lamp not working and very thin walls
