Liked: Staff were friendly. It was clean considering there were many dogs visiting.
Disliked: The self check-in and out. The door handle on the outside was broken and locked us in one time, I had to call the hotel (there was no internal phone)to let us out, the bloke who came said it had been broken some time. We were on the 4th floor, with my 88 year old ailing mother, good job there wasn't a fire.Breakfast was mainly continental with only bacon, eggs (boiled or poached - do it yourself), and small pancakes for hot meals. All hot drinks were from a sort of vending machine. No good if you are infirm.

Liked: The staff upon arrival were really friendly and welcoming, the free coffee facilities were a nice touch. At 4pm they offer free cake to guests
Disliked: The radiator in the bathroom wasn't working and I had to tighten a bolt after the first night to get it working.The windows are single glazed and very draughty. Headboard over bed was very dusty, lighting looked pretty but didn't really do anything to brighten the room. Two single beds pushed together with a mattress topper, the join was still obvious and uncomfortable.

Liked: perfect for a quality stay with dogs, the staff are very pleasant and to say it is a hotel that allows dogs it has no bad smells. Highly recommend and have booked to return in the summer. The cherry on the cake was the free dog baths in the basement that even provided shampoo and towels for them.
