Hotel Description
With original stone flooring this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town center 2625 feet from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster. Fully refurbished in 2018 it has free on-site parking rooms with attached bathroom and a restaurant. The interior seamlessly blends many original features from 1794 including the arches in the old kitchen with more modern artwork log fires and woodburners. The rooms are individually designed and feature flat-screen TVs hairdryers work desks and tea/coffee. The private bathrooms have showers and toiletries. Downstairs the bar and lounges are open throughout the day for drinks coffee and snacks and the light airy restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the Chefs at work. All the food is freshly cooked and features many local and regional producers. Outside there's a large sheltered courtyard with Champagne bar and booth seating. It offers good transport links to York Leeds Hull Doncaster and Sheffield.

Pleasant stay apart from disappointing...

Liked: Lovely hotel central to town nice comfortable rooms
Disliked: The restaurant menu was poor on Saturday night it was only 7.30 and already 4 items were not available on the menu

Liked: In a perfect location. The hotel is decorated beautifully. The staff were really friendly and helpfulWe had a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast had lots of options
Disliked: Only 2 disabled car parking spaces

Two night stay for wedding

Liked: The facilities were lovely. Spent most time on the outside seating area with heaters and blankets, which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Finding the location was easy. Checked in quickly. Room smaller than I thought but very cosy. Clean modern bathroom clean towels and bathroom items provided. On our cleaning day, I had put do not disturb sign, just that I had left the room alittle untidy wedding preparations lol. So, I did not want the staff to witness that. However, on our return, a parcel was left outside the door with the essentials if we had run out of things , which was very nice and thoughtful.
Disliked: The food was ok. I wasn't a fan of the sausages, my personal taste. Food hot. My second breakfast took a while. However, staff were very apologetic. The bedding had a few marks on them, and pillows were a bit worn,again, my personal choice. The room was very warm but able to adjust the radiator and open the window.
