We had a good time.

Liked: Close to the venue we were going to for a concert. Close to local eateries and pubs.
Disliked: Car parking. But you can say this about any city.

Disappointing

Liked: Beautiful rooms and great location
Disliked: Indifferent and unhelpful staff. I am disabled and received no assistance whatsoever. A call back from the Manager promised a partial refund and a voucher but neither has been forthcoming. Housekeeping was patchy and both quality and delivery of breakfast (not included) were very variable. I did not wish to write a poor review but as compensation has not been forthcoming I feel it only right to advise that the lovely rooms and great location were compromised by poor service.

Beautiful stay, Exceptional staff and...

Liked: Exceptionally friendly staff, great location and fab perks like sherry on arrival. Shower was great, and the view over the square was lovely
Disliked: Only downside is that I stayed here 10 years ago and it hasn't been updated - it could do with e.g. access to netflix on the TV (as much as I enjoyed watching Frasier in the mornings) and perhaps some USB charging points. That said I would absolutely stay again

Stylish, comfortable, friendly boutique hotel...

Liked: what a gem! quiet setting in a square adjacent to busy Bristol city, parking on site, and such cute rooms! Single rooms were beautifully designed and were so comfortable
Disliked: literally nothing! Cant wait to come back again!

Highly recommend place to stay...

Liked: Excellent position to visit Bristol. They went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated well, there was a birthday party happening in the main hotel so we were upgraded into a suite in a separate building. We felt very well looked after and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very good

Liked: Bed was so comfortable and furnishings in the room were lovely. Staff lovely, garage facility great.
Disliked: In the basement, the windows were out onto a kitchen alley way, difficult to secure the windows. No working ironing boards available.
