It's not to me to say customer service is dead. But the lady who checked us in on Saturday afternoon obviously should have another job or be held accountable for her lack of customer service. I've long believed customer service is dead and unfortunately the stay here did not help. Only issue I had was our room on the six floor had very loud partying floor mates. Not in your control. It was clear that my girlfriend and I would not be getting sleep with these party goers - I tried around 7 o'clock to get another room but was properly shut down by this woman - 'no way possible, you will just be put in another area where you'll be next to someone else. I will go talk to them'. That didn't seem like a logical conclusion so we went out, got dinner, came back by 10 and the partygoers were still at it, loud out on the balcony and I called our lady again. After much resistance to change our rooms to any room for that matter and I didn't care if we were going to be next to another person I didn't wanna be next to party goers, she permitted the change. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a customer service experience when we are at the center of the experience but sadly we're all left to feel like we're inconveniencing you all. I know times are tough but am I correct to assume you're supposed to be in a way taking care of us?

Good bones, excellent location, can’t...

Liked: Good, downtown location. A number of the staff were excellent, especially Jasmine in the restaurant. Does match other nearby hotels for value.
Disliked: The property is starting a major renovation and I’m sure many of the shortcomings will be addressed. Rooms are small which is common in many downtown locations. The AC worked well while on the room, but there appears to be a sensor that shuts off the AC when you leave the room. Unfortunately, that means coming back to a hot and stuffy room. Room amenities are limited; there is no refrigerator or microwave. In the lobby, there is only seating for two people. The restaurant and bar has limited hours, but there are a number of good restaurants nearby.

Interesting unique hotel with great...

Liked: The hotel was unique and interesting. The rooms were very generously sized, especially the bathrooms. The rooms had lovely balconies that we used a lot. They were a bonus as we didn't know we were getting them. There were amazing restaurants and a coffee shop within a block or two.
Disliked: Some of the chairs on the balconies need to be replaced.

Liked: My wife and I came for our anniversary and it was wonderful!
Disliked: Some construction, but that was fine. The building is beautiful!

Exceptional

Liked: The staff was above and beyond. We had a celebration at the Tobacco Company across the street and it was so convenient! The breakfast was very good! Beautiful dining room! Would highly recommend
Disliked: Everything was great!
