The Belsfield Hotel

Very good

Liked: The Belsfield is in a prime location for your stay in Bowness on Windermere .Very close to all the shops ,restaurants and other facilities. The room was clean comfortable with a fantastic power shower !!!!Tea coffee making facilities and some kendal mint cake .The food was also lovely all you could need at breakfast The hotel is also set in lovely gardens and very close to Bowness pier and bus stops to explore further afield

Liked: Staff are great value to the hotel. Big appreciation to all of them and special thanks to: Neil, Charlie, Driss, Peter and the amazing guy who booked me a taxi (unfortunately, I forgot his name).

Fantastic place to stay.

Liked: Location was fantastic, room was very comfortable, breakfast was good, the staff were brilliant couldn’t help us enough.
Disliked: Not much not to dislike apart from the lift not working.

Bad to very bad, they...

Liked: I booked one Junior Suit and one double room. This were in different floors. On arrival I noted the bathroom sink of the junior suit room was faulty, water exit from the basin was very slow, I had to wait for long time before the water went out while using the sink. I told the reception desk about it, the person said I have to wait until next morning before the plumber can fix this. Next morning I told the reception desk again who sent plumber in the afternoon, to our surprise the plumber could not fix the blockage and mate it worse at one point water was on allover the floor. The manager told us we have to go to another motel nearby. On request they gave us another double room which was very small and of poor quality, the only window was frosted so no outside view at all. The junior suit room lake view was very good but we were in that room only one night other two nights were in a small room.The lift was out of order so we had to walk up to second floor each time, specially with my back pain it was very difficult.
Disliked: Fairly good breakfast.

Amazing place

Liked: All the staff were really friendly and helpful, but one of the reception lads called Ashley was exceptionally helpful. The location is excellent and the rooms are lovely and clean. We will return for sure.

Fantastic Location on the Lakes...

Liked: Fantastic location with brilliant views.Staff friendly and helpful.Gardens beautiful.Bedroom was large and comfortable although too hot. Bathroom had bath and shower. Large TVThey are doing renovation to parts of the hotel but that didn't spoil our time there.Breakfast and Restaurant overlook the gardens and lake. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Bedroom was too hot even with the air conditioning unit but it was a very hot weekend.
