Very expensive for the facilities...

Liked: Location is excellent. Dining room very impressive. Breakfast was really good quality.
Disliked: In need of refurbishment. Ceiling leaking in reception area. Walls marked and dirty in need of painting. Carpets are stained and need of replacement. Decor needs updating. Family beds were very uncomfortable

Staff warm and welcoming views...

Liked: The staff couldn't do enough for you very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: We decided to have breakfast in our room on the first morning and it Unfortunately didn't arrive we ordered it for 10.15 so I phoned down to the reception they were quick enough to sort it out which was great when it did arrive we had 1 fork no spoons for the fruit compot butter but no toast it was just a little miss matched, the room in a good position as we over looked the lake with absolutely stunning views, the bathroom was great except I'd make the toilet a little bigger massive bathroom and small loo with a separate door it didn't make much sence. The rooms were extremely warm. We had the windows open the whole time we were there. Apart from the few hiccups, we had an excellent experience and would go back. The mattress on the bed is 1 of the best I've slept on and would go back just for a great night's sleep.

Disliked: Everything else….staff were poor, rooms were not as advertised, the place was very run down

Disliked: Price dropped before we went but it couldn’t be matched, (£60 cheaper) or unwilling to match, no lake views from a family room but charged £239 including parking, very disappointed all in all

Hotel location excellent

Liked: Staff excellent,breakfast very good,great room and the hotel very clean.
Disliked: Charging £15 a day for car parking,this should be free for people staying at the hotel.

Liked: We were upgraded on arrival which was an excellent room with a great view. The hotel was splendid and the breakfasts fabulous
