Disliked: Parking location of my room on an alley, homeless folks next to my room

Liked: While close to the water and pier, which was lovely, there were many undesirables and homeless on the perimeter of the building. As a woman traveling alone, this made me very anxious & nervous. I had a family event in the evening and when I returned the parking lot was full (there are minimal spots for an inn with 15 rooms-5 spots I believe). I called the front desk for guidance and was told to park on the street. The following morning I came out to find a $70 parking ticket. It would have been helpful for the front desk to advise of the street sweeping at 6am and I could have moved the car. This is very disappointing. Poor guest service. As a courtesy I should have been told about street sweeping at 6am. I probably would have noticed the street sign if I wasn’t so terrified of the undesirables and in such a hurry to get inside my room. I heard yelling all night and was made even more nervous that there was no secondary lock on the door. I will say the room and linens were clean and the check in clerk was pleasant.

Liked: From start to finish the friendly staff, walking distance to the water, they’re wonderful and comfortable beds for a price that is way lower than the others. I will definitely be staying here again.. 5 STARS
Disliked: Absolutely nothing. Walking distance to the beach and to the stores and into a boardwalk restaurant.!!! It’s all convenient at this location . I was delighted with everything.
