Good place for a couple...

Liked: Great place with southern charm. Helpful staff who helped us change to another room upon check-in. Nice restaurant and bar.
Disliked: Rooms are extremely dark. Only 2 dim lamps in each of the rooms we rented.

Enjoyed it!

Liked: I was disappointed. I’d read grits and waffles and thought it would be a Southern breakfast, not just out of envelopes and boxes. There was no tea.

It was a lovely hotel...

Liked: It was a continental breakfast which was fine as we weren’t looking to eat that much. Orange juice was very good . We appreciated Jim giving us a glass of a very nice wine as the bar/restaurant was not open on Monday when we arrived.

Very nice staff. Hotel is...

Liked: Breakfast was good. We were in room 12. Heat was “iffy” and there could have been an additional blanket.
Disliked: Bathroom was clean, but floor was dated. Also, bathtub needs new caulk.
