Sitting on the Regency seafront with wonderful sea views The Belmont Hotel is one of Sidmouth's popular 4-star hotels. It is a short level walk from the town center. The Belmont has private manicured gardens and a terrace for drinks or lunches close to the sea. Liked: when we first arrived we went to the lounge and were told to find a seat and someone would attend to our drinks order . we found a table and no one came . we waited . after ten minutes my husband went to the bar and then someone came . what we liked was the comfy bed and size of the rooms . big bath . lovely ! liked the garden walk and the staff were nice
Disliked: the coffee served at breakfast . it was very tasteless like watered down . awful i couldn’t drink it . and the windows in the bedroom needed cleaning

Lovely atmospheric old hotel on...

Liked: Super comfortable bed, great service, excellent spa facilities at the sister hotel over the road
Disliked: Breakfast was poor quality
