Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Limited evening food menu.

No Bell prizegiving here

Liked: Very little - feeling was management didn’t care about attention to detail and room facilities lacking (lack of sockets near bed and no USB ports, no mini bar, no air conditioning)
Disliked: On very hot day, no air conditioning so would have expected a fan in room. Had to visit reception to request one. Unnecessary.

Liked: The staff really were exceptionally nice and very helpful. Food was very good, rooms very clean and most importantly for us they were very dog friendly.

I would not recommend Based...

Liked: Location. Adequate parking
Disliked: Everything about the room was dreadful. No headboards, mattress about as uncomfortable as possible, no mattress protectors . Dirty mattress. Broken latch on window. No coffee sachets, only one sachet of coffee for cafatetier which was put od date. Told re eption they said it wasn't even their product range ! So no coffee, only 4 sticks white sugar. Breakfast was okay apart from the fact that both juices were warm. Mirror in bathroom very old and brown around edges. On the plus side, a lovely welcome from reception, a wonderful location , and drinks served promptly and with a smile.
