Apart from the above problems...

Liked: Clean and comfortable bedroom although the shower was weak and unable to adjust the temperature
Disliked: Public area doors and hand rails were grubby and needed cleaning

Disliked: Very expensive for what it was.Very small room, various stains on carpet and very poor breakfast.

A very pleasant stay in...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, excellent location, good communication and a pleasant atmosphere.
Disliked: Quite easy to get lost in a maze of corridors.

A great hotel. A pity...

Liked: Location is very good, and the hotel is splendid old building which has been well looked after.
Disliked: The available car parking arrangements could have been explained a lot more clearly.We were unlucky enough to have a party of drunken young men staying immediatley above us. They kept us awake for hours and made a horrible mess on our balcony. There was nothing the hotel staff could realistically have done about this, except to blacklist the guilty guests against future stays. Which they appear to have done.
