Great location & friendly staff.

Liked: We loved the rustic charm & so many different seating areas both inside & out. All the staff were extremely friendly .
Disliked: We are light sleepers , so the road noise was an issue for us. It may not be for others.

Our stay at The Bell

Liked: The food and staff were brilliant.
Disliked: The beds were a little uncomfortable and we found there wasn't a lot of ventilation in the room. We did have a fab and asked for another one to help air the family sized room, so that did help.

Poor quality room and hotel.

Liked: The location and the cooked breakfast and one of the waitresses.
Disliked: A hotel that seriously needs updating. The bedroom we stayed in smelled stale. Poor paintwork, door lock on bathroom fell off, cobwebs in the window, dark and dingy. We were only given one set of keys so we had to come back together. All for the pricey cost of £265 which didn't include breakfast. You would expect far more. The excuse was Silverstone, so banged the price up. We did complain about the hotel, but got the typical corporate waffle about upholding standards, blah blah blah.

Definitely would stay again, or...

Liked: Decor lovely. Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Food great. Would definitely go back.
Disliked: We went in very hot weather spell. The room was baking hot. A fan was provided but did very little. It would have been nice if maybe the windows were already open. Lack of plug sockets was a minor irritation. Couldn’t blow dry hair in front of mirror. However it is an old building so small sacrifice to make to stay in it.
