Liked: The restaurant, bar and garden. Bedroom was spacious and clean
Disliked: Breakfast does not start until 7.30 am which is too late for many business travellers

Superb

Liked: Breakfast good
Disliked: Shower in Room 4 was rather erratic, suddenly burst of hot and cold without touching the controls.

Adequate

Liked: Very limited choice. Would have liked cereal or continental. Cooked breakfast choices could not be changed. Would have preferred poached or scrambled eggs etc
Disliked: Would have liked mirror to get ready in morning and a chair to sit on in room. Bed not particularly comfortable. Would have preferred twin beds

Perfect - looking forward to...

Liked: The Bell was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The room was clean and provided an electric fan which was a godsend in the hot weather. But the really outstanding things were the food and the staff. The food was really exceptional and all the restaurant staff were not only friendly and courteous but also very knowledgeable.
Disliked: This is really just being picky but because the weather was really hot- quite a rarity in UK summer- the room would have benefited from aircon but whether it would be worth the expense just for the few hot days it might be needed is debatable

Two night break to attend...

Liked: Excellent location, comfortable room and great food especially the breakfasts.
Disliked: Nothing.

Fine for a stop off.

Liked: It was fine. Rather average to be honest but fine. Our first room was over poweringly hot but we were moved. I think to get the best of this place you should eat and drink in the bus which looked great. We arrived a bit too late for this
Disliked: Not much really

Liked: Breakfast was very good, well cooked and tasty, served by friendly staff.
Disliked: Dinner was somewhat disappointing. Two of our party of four had roast leg of lamb which was overcooked and dry. One of us has Sea Bass which was also overcooked and dry. However, wen you are with friends and the wine is flowing, you cope with it!
