No hot water but a...
Liked: I liked that it was affordable cleaning and had parking options available
Disliked: The parking, while affordable, was a bit confusing and not having any temporary parking option to check in (because the street is now closed to traffic) was difficult if you don't know the area or streets. I wish they had explained a little bit better and given more info about how to check out and why a deposit was needed. I also purposely got a room with a spa tub and was incredibly disappointed to find that the jets in the tub didn't actually work, so it was just a slightly larger tub. And worse, the water was no more than lukewarm at any given time and fluctuated between very cold and lukewarm, so the bath situation was a disaster.

Good central location, nearby bar...
Liked: Location
Disliked: No closet or hangers to hang clothes. Extremely noisy til after 1am from the bar across the street at night. Thin walls. I could hear my neighbor snoring

We'll be back.
Liked: The central location was a game changer for our mini-vacation. If that weren't enough, we had a view of the water, comfy reading chairs, and a working fireplace? We were able to do all the sightseeing we could want, walk to our choice of pubs in the evening, or take tea two doors over at Murchie's, yet come back to our room and relax with a good book. This may be our new favorite stay in Victoria to date.
Disliked: In-room tea making could be improved. No one enjoys powdered Coffeemate in their tea, and 4-5 packets of sugar isn't enough for even two people for one cup each.

Liked: Location location location. Everything you could want was well within walking distance. Shops, bars, cafes, markets museums it was all there.
Disliked: No onsite parking. The parking they had was a block away and cost $18 a night. The height clearance of 6'2" means trucks wont fit and you are forced to use public pay parking, behind the hotel, at $32 for 24hrs with no in and out privelages. There was also no closet or anywhere to hang your coats

This hotel had a charm...
Liked: It was a unique and cozy room. The building itself was very old but had a bit of a charm
Disliked: Very small room. It was essentially a bed and a bathroom, but that was fine since we spent most of our time out and about. It was a bit strange having the sink located in the main room and not having one in the bathroom but it wasn't a big deal overall.
