Friendly and comfortable place to...

Liked: Friendly and efficient staff who looked after everybody well despite the huge pressures of the folk week. Comfortable bed. Good flexible choices at breakfast. Good quality produce at breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Excellent location for everything. . Single sea view room with a balcony. Room rather bijou and compact but the spacious balcony was worth it.Beautifully clean. Staff lovely and seem happy and working so hard. Breakfast choice lovely. Lift a bonus. Lovely new shower facilities but quite tight if you are a bigger size.Shower/body wash and liquid soap provided.Refreshments in room replenished daily. Very accommodating in resurant and breakfast very efficient. We would return. Secure key pads to permit access late night or early morning's.Super sea views /people watch. Additional heaters and blankets available in the room.
Disliked: Limited hotel parking x3 spaces. Pay to park opposite was useful. Pity hotel residents can't get a discount. Limited on street parking. Additional expense to vacation.Fixed shower head in ensuite shower unable to adjust.. Don't always want to wash hair daily.. Dated wardrobe and drawers wonky, walls to French windows are grubby. French door squeaks when being opened. Noisy for next door neighbours. Room fans would be a bonus in hot weather.

A delightful, comfortable stay right...

Liked: Situated on the esplanade, with some views out to sea and to the west, it is an old fashioned, comfortable hotel with 40 rooms. Ours was quite spacious. Good buffet breakfast.
Disliked: Car parking! Very few slots in the free park behind the hotel. If you can’t find a space there, you must use the expensive town car park opposite.

A fabulous long weekend with...

Liked: Superb location. Receptionists helped bring in our luggage from the car park at the back of the property and again at the side when leaving despite the arrival of a coach! All staff were extremely pleasant. Good choice of breakfast both continental and cooked which was well prepared and presented on nice hot plates!
Disliked: Nothing.

We were only there for...

Liked: It all went well. the Staff are lovely and all so helpful. Food is lovely. Room is lovely and our balcony was amazing. We had the door open all night and could seen the moon on the water. One night it was the most amazing strawberry moon. We just lay in bed and enjoyed the view.
Disliked: I needed to get my mobility rollator in and out and it would have been easier if both the double doors were left open instead of just one. But any staff nearby immediately helped me if they say me struggling. The hotel is listed so they cant have ramps put in but it would make a big difference if the entrance double doors were both kept open which widens the doorway.
