Set on Devon's Jurassic Coast Bedford Hotel is located on Sidmouth's seafront. It has individually designed rooms with flat-screen TVs limited free parking and a restaurant overlooking Lyme Bay. Rooms at the hotel are decorated in light shades and modern wallpaper. Rooms include hairdryers tea/coffee-making facilities and many have panoramic sea views some also have balconies. Cooked English breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room while the restaurant offers an international menu. Produce is sourced from the Devon area and roast dinners are available on Sundays. Sidmouth has miles of sandy beaches for guests to enjoy. Sidmouth Golf Course is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Perfect

Liked: We had room 29, 2nd floor corner. Views of the sea from two directions and a balcony - perfect! We took our dog and in the room was a doggy blanket and some treats, a lovely touch. Because we had a dog we could not sit in the main dining room for breakfast, but this was not a problem, as they had a separate area called "the shed" which was comfortable and quiet, the dog even got her own sausage! Excellent choice at buffet breakfast and a veggie breakfast. Could not fault this hotel and will definitely be returning.... As long as I get room 29!!
Disliked: One evening people were eating fish in the bar area and it stunk!
