Liked: Easy to find, close to location I was visiting, clean and tidy room and free car parking.
Disliked: For some people the two flights of stairs may be a problem but not for me,

Excellent stay with very pleasant...

Liked: Car parking,, hospitality, large room with clean en-suite. Great breakfast and nice lounge-breafast dining area.
Disliked: Small broken window in front door needed repairing to create a better impression

A good value overnight B&B...

Liked: Jo was very hospitable & helpful. Made me very welcome. Clean room & good hot breakfast offered. Easy parking & walk to Merseyrail station.
Disliked: The property is a tired & dated. The outside appearance & signage could be easily updated to improve first impressions.

Exceptional

Comfortable, clean, friendly, homely place...

Liked: A warm welcome on arrival, room was very clean and comfortable and had everything that was needed. Large bathroom with shower over and a separate toilet. Full English breakfast was available and looked really nice but my appetite was smaller, what I had was very nice and generous portions.
Disliked: The fabric of the hotel was as mentioned in previous comments rather tired, but nothing that was too off putting.The front of the B&B also would be much improved by some attention to the various pots and containers there most were empty of plants or had plants looking a bit worse for wear. This would make the appearance so much better.However I it didn’t impact on my stay.

Disliked: It's dated and needs redecorating but given the price is acceptable.

A very comfortable place to...

Liked: Spacious airy rooms , very comfortable, excellent breakfast , very welcoming helpful staff
Disliked: If we’d noticed the lack of one before we needed it in the morning, a bathmat would probably have been provided (there was a non-slip mat for use inside the bath) but not having one was the only small inconvenience we experienced during our stay
