Friendly charming surroundings with good...

Liked: Breakfast high quality and well cooked.Very friendly helpful staff. Pleasant seating options. Patio dining rooms bar. Good parking. Charming vintage decor not modern bland. Sweet town, historical walk panel on road opposite plus well stocked mini supermarket opposite and at petrol station..
Disliked: Better non slip floor in shower. Hot water in shower too hot and couldn't find cooler water.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely hotel - I will be back next year. Very well located in the village and nice beer garden at the front of the hotel. Room had everything we needed.
Disliked: More vegan options on the weekday menu might be good.

Outstanding service & great food.

Liked: We were late to arrive due to ferry delay into Plymouth. The staff were incredibly generous in allowing us to eat in the restaurant even though we were late & arrived after they had officially ’closed’. The meal was lovely & we weren’t rushed to leave. The bar was great, with a good choice of been on ‘tap’.The accommodation was clean & comfortable & the breakfast was first rate.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Lovely location and helpful staff

Liked: Beautiful building and outside area, lots of parking, friendly and helpful staff. Tesco and bus stop over the road.
Disliked: The rooms could do with a refresh. Some mould on bathroom seals and not the best mattresses. Food a little pricey.
