A very pleasant stay

Liked: The staff were very helpful.The food was good.The beer (two cask ales from Wye Valley Brewery) were excellent.
Disliked: The single room was rather small.

Disliked: Couldn’t find the remote looked everywhere even under the bed (wished I hadn’t) Staff were helpful meals were good starter and main course I asked for a crème brûlée but not available however when back at the room looked at the bil and was charged for a desert that I didn’t have!

A lovely and peaceful stay.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Had all the facilities that you require. Had an evening meal which was also very nice. Even with the window wide open due to the heat there was very little noise overnight. If in the area again, would definitely return.
Disliked: Its an old building so a few creaky floor boards and doors but not much can be done about that, didn't affect our stay in the slightest.

Liked: When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed, as was the local chip shop. Our only option was a Tesco express. The hotel then told us that they would allow us to heat up food in their microwave. One of our group bought a lasagne, the hotel not only heated it up, they then served it up on a plate c/w a side salad. A bad situation saved, with exceptional service.
Disliked: The restaurant was closed with no notification given to us. The room was very hot.
