Wonderful staff! The fabric of...

Liked: Ambiance!!
Disliked: The breakfast was disappointing! The Hotel was advised that my wife is Gluten free. The hotel was not prepared. The waitress admitted that she would have to check the freezer for Gluten free bread. The breakfast was overcooked with some elements re heated!! Not worth £10.00 per head. The staff were very helpful and as my wife says lovely.

Wonderful gem of a hotel...

Liked: What a gem of a find! We booked this due to the original hotel we booked closing. How lucky were we! The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were super helpful and polite. They even set us up to continue our chat after the pub was closing so we didn't have to cram in our room. The food was excellent - tasty and so well cooked. I've never had hashbrowns that nice to be honest. Great to find it is also dog friendly so will be back to try again soon!
Disliked: The only thing ready for a change is the stair carpet.

Super stay in characterful building

Liked: Staff were smashing. Special mention to the lovely young gentleman from behind the bar who helped with our bags and the two who did battle with our TV late in the evening. Breakfast was super scrummy.
