Why Concert-goers love it

Late-night arrivals? No problem with 15:00 check-in and hassle-free parking. Plus, being slightly outside the city center means it’s quieter at night—ideal for recovering after a loud show.

Nightlife Options

You’re close to Asheville’s buzzing bar scene, with live music venues, breweries, and lounges just minutes away downtown. Back at the motel, enjoy a bottle of local brew in a laid-back setting. It’s not a party hotel—but it’s a great place to recharge after one.

What People Say

Guests love the clean rooms, friendly staff, and the motel’s unbeatable proximity to downtown Asheville without the crowds. Many reviews highlight the excellent value and the bonus of having craft beer on site. Travelers also appreciate the free parking and quiet atmosphere after a high-energy night out.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are a bit on the no-frills side—don’t expect luxury décor. Some guests mention that it’s more of a motel-style setup, so you may hear occasional hallway noise. Still, for the price and location, most agree it’s a great deal.

The Bottom Line

If you're catching a show in Asheville and want a clean, affordable place to crash with easy downtown access, The Beaucatcher a Boutique Motel hits the right notes.

Stacie, Knoxville, visiting The Orange Peel

The room was lovely; the staff was friendly; the price was great. I will be a lifelong customer!

Disliked: Nothing.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

Bonnie, Boone, visiting The Grey Eagle

This is obviously a flop house for the sketchy characters who inhabit this part of town. I felt very unsafe. Next time I'll spend a few more bucks and sleep more peacefully.

Liked: It was cheap. But I've stayed in inexpensive motels which were at least clean and cared for.
Disliked: To quote the great Bette Davis, "What a dump!"

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Julie, visiting Harrah's Cherokee Center Asheville

I was very disappointed. Everything worked and it seemed clean but I will not stay there again. It is very, very old and I did not feel safe.

Don’t waste your money

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The room we requested was a balcony room or patio room. We got a room that didn’t have neither. Also had a room with crack in the window. There was no one at the front desk for check in had to call and wait 20 minutes from him to show up. We chose this place since it was local and though it was be better than staying at place was not local. We also attempted to go the breakfast which was advertising just for coffee and it wasn’t open so we decided to just pack up and leave. They also charged a smoking charge and we didn’t smoke in the room we were barely at the hotel. Called to ask and the front desk started telling me to come up and call the cops on him.

Needs Improvement

Liked: Location and cost (it was cheap)
Disliked: Hard to lock the door (door didn't lock when you closed it most of the time) Rooms were very dark. Nobody at front desk most of the time. Free breakfast was just a bagel. Cracks in the bathtub. This could be a very cute little motel with allot of work. The rooms need to be updated with better beds, TV's, and bathrooms and better internet
