This is obviously a flop house for the sketchy characters who inhabit this part of town. I felt very unsafe. Next time I'll spend a few more bucks and sleep more peacefully.

Liked: It was cheap. But I've stayed in inexpensive motels which were at least clean and cared for.
Disliked: To quote the great Bette Davis, "What a dump!"

I was very disappointed. Everything worked and it seemed clean but I will not stay there again. It is very, very old and I did not feel safe.

Great, inexpensive and comfortable spot...

Liked: I love that the balcony was accessible and faced the courtyard, which was pleasant. It was nice to sit out there and enjoy the weather. The bed and room were very comfy and perfect for the overnight stay. The property owner listened to my feedback at checkout and was very pleasant.
Disliked: My room entrance was on the side facing the sexy book store, and it felt a little desolate and secluded as at the time I checked in there were no other guests on that side. As a solo female traveler I parked in front where I felt a little more visible going to and from my car. Overall I felt safe though.

Disliked: I tried to drop off the card keys, and the door was locked. I used the intercom, and even tried to call the office. No answer or response. Ended up having to leave the card keys in the room I stayed in.

Liked: Location was great...lots of nearby restaurants and close to the biltmore. Room was mostly clean. Staff was friendly. Linens were clean and beds were comfy. It was nice to have a balcony!
Disliked: TV was small. Breakfast was limited. Ice machine was temperamental (maybe have one on each side of building?). Photo of front is a bit misleading. Motel looks straight at highway, can't see much of the mountains. Bathroom was small!!

Short. But uncomfortably unclean.

Disliked: Our room was not clean. The bathroom was really gross. Hair all in the tub. Floor boards were disgusting. Sheets and towels had stains on them.
