Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and a cool local touch with a selection of Asheville’s best craft beers on site.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just a quick drive—or a short rideshare—away from Asheville’s top venues, including The Orange Peel and Harrah's Cherokee Center. The location means easy access without the downtown price tag. Late-night arrivals? No problem with 15:00 check-in and hassle-free parking. Plus, being slightly outside the city center means it’s quieter at night—ideal for recovering after a loud show.

Nightlife Options

You’re close to Asheville’s buzzing bar scene, with live music venues, breweries, and lounges just minutes away downtown. Back at the motel, enjoy a bottle of local brew in a laid-back setting. It’s not a party hotel—but it’s a great place to recharge after one.

What People Say

Guests love the clean rooms, friendly staff, and the motel’s unbeatable proximity to downtown Asheville without the crowds. Many reviews highlight the excellent value and the bonus of having craft beer on site. Travelers also appreciate the free parking and quiet atmosphere after a high-energy night out.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are a bit on the no-frills side—don’t expect luxury décor. Some guests mention that it’s more of a motel-style setup, so you may hear occasional hallway noise. Still, for the price and location, most agree it’s a great deal.

The Bottom Line

If you're catching a show in Asheville and want a clean, affordable place to crash with easy downtown access, The Beaucatcher a Boutique Motel hits the right notes.

The room was lovely; the staff was friendly; the price was great. I will be a lifelong customer!

Disliked: Nothing.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

Bonnie, Boone, visiting The Grey Eagle Tue, 17 February 2015

This is obviously a flop house for the sketchy characters who inhabit this part of town. I felt very unsafe. Next time I'll spend a few more bucks and sleep more peacefully.

Liked: It was cheap. But I've stayed in inexpensive motels which were at least clean and cared for.
Disliked: To quote the great Bette Davis, "What a dump!"

Julie, visiting Harrah's Cherokee Center Asheville Wed, 25 September 2013

I was very disappointed. Everything worked and it seemed clean but I will not stay there again. It is very, very old and I did not feel safe.

Pleasant

Disliked: WiFi did not work. Wanted to down-load local map for travel in the mountains where reception is poor & could not do it.Had to drive to town - the walk is not far but not pleasant through a tunnel although you can go over the ridge which is scenic but demanding.

Would not stay again.

Liked: Breakfast not available. It was a low price but the condition - it should have been even lower.
Disliked: Cleanliness and appearance was not good. Lots of water damage and urine smell in the bathroom. Little water bugs in there. Ceiling damage in main room part. Sheet had long ripped part dangling on floor. Little weird stains on the sheets.

Terrible

Liked: The motel was damaged by last fall’s hurricane. Very little has been done to repair the damage. I sympathize with the owners, but maybe the motel should be closed.
Disliked: Bugs in the room, no ice machine, the lobby was never open, no permanent window in the bathroom, phone didn’t work.
