Liked: Beautifully designed rooms with antiques and lovely vintage accessories and luxe fabrics. Very friendly staff and good food.Each room has its own design and colour scheme with unique accessories. The public spaces are very nice and roomy. The outdoor garden, terrace also great with nice planting and furniture.The staff couldn't be friendlier. Superb breakfast!
Disliked: Irritating practical issues to do with heating controls and lighting. Underfloor heating is not suitable to a hotel room and the room was cold. The complicated lighting controls were impossible to manage and we couldn't turn on all the lights! That's a first. A simple switch would have been appreciated.The food is good and interesting but beware as the portions are small.

Great characterful and comfortable Gastro...

Liked: Lovely characterful Gastro Pub with great rooms/suites. Plenty of easy parking, lovely welcoming and helpful staff, great food! The Chef really knows his flavours. A thoroughly delightful stay. We will return.
