Lovely hotel

Liked: Good location and had lovely character! There was always a great atmosphere within and the rooms were lovely. Breakfast across the road in the penny farthing was really good too
Disliked: Sometimes the cleaning was not done properly on one of the nights it had definitely not been hoovered as there was still bits on the floor from previous day and the duvet had tea stains all over the duvet cover on the front of the bed

Liked: We changed rooms from a downstairs one overlooking the courtyard, as we wanted more privacy. This was no problem, and we were quickly given a spacious room with a four-poster bed and a roll-top bath, which was lovely. Very comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: Wifi in our room was poor.

Liked: Beautiful location in an historic market town. The mixture of old worldly with modern features too.Very clean and staff very polite. Deceptively large. Appeals to all in tastes both young and old.
