Disliked: No one at reception to check in when we arrived no one informed us there would be live music until 11pm right outside our allocated room. Shower didn't work properly either.The walkway to the upper level rooms was overgrown woth a wisteria and the staircase needs replacing. No one on the reception desk to check out either

Ok for the three days...

Liked: Location was very convenient. Car parking ample and easy to access. Outside environment was very pleasant especially during the good weather.
Disliked: Cask beer was off due to high cellar temperatures! Not acceptable as you rate your establishment as a cask ale location. Three days of 25 degree heat shouldn't be too much for a beer cellar to cope with. Very disappointing.Our Ground floor room was plagued by a creaking floor in the room above, even when those occupants were merely walking about. Very annoying in the evening and early morning.

Excellent breakfast. Great variety

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised both the quality of the Continental and the cooked food on offer.
