Great location & friendly staff

Liked: Really great location & lovely breakfast Staff were friendly and no issue arranging late check in and out for us which was very kind
Disliked: Our room (9) was on the small side but ok. The main issue that probably needs looking at is there is a slide door on the bathroom but it doesn’t close properly which makes it a bit awkward to use the bathroom. I wouldn’t stay in that room again but would happily return to a different one.

Liked: We really liked the Beacons Guest House. The owner and staff were very friendly. Free and easy accessible parking a big plus. Breakfast was very good and Brecon was a short and pleasant walk. Highly recommended!

Liked: The location was perfect. Both Sophie and Neil were very friendly and pleasant. Tilly who served breakfast was very pleasant too and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast excellent.

Lovely stay- perfect for our...

Liked: Stayed for one night. Excellent location, easy to find, near to shops and lovely tandoori restaurant just down the road. Car parking at back with plenty of spaces. Fairly quick check in despite us arriving earlier than planned + responsive host. Room was a good size for family of 4 in annexe. Bathroom was large. Minor issues at start dealt with quickly. Breakfast is outstanding and the service was excellent. WiFi was good. We had a good night's sleep. It was quiet.
Disliked: Needs more hangers/ hooks for clothes - but I could say this for every single hotel/ guest house that I have stayed in.
