The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

This was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. The air condition did not work properly, would not cool to anything under 79 degrees, the iron board did not stand up. In addition to this I was charged 5 dollars a day for a safe I did not even know was in the room, and 5 dollars a day for parking in the hotel parking lot. I could not find this policy written anywhere online. It was on a small sign in the lobby. However, since my card was charged in advance I was stuck.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the elevator did not work, but the staff were great and moved us to a lower level

Liked: We didn't, they called and we asked for closer to the main floor and they put us on the top floor. The elevator doesn't work and the rooms weren't clean, there was blood on one of the beds and sand all on the floor.
Disliked: We booked two rooms and asked to be next to each other and she placed is on either side of the top floor.

We had a great stay

Liked: Close proximity to food, beach, shopping and room overlooked the pool and beach!
Disliked: Ice machine never worked on 4th floor. Took forever to get hot water and sometimes didn’t get it.

Disliked: Awful room. Curtain hanging off, ceiling falling apart in the bathroom, previous guest's trainers under the bed, floor dirty, furniture in need of replacement, grouting in bathroom stained, dent in the bathroom wall, unfriendly man behind reception although the lady who served us was pleasant.
