The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

This was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. The air condition did not work properly, would not cool to anything under 79 degrees, the iron board did not stand up. In addition to this I was charged 5 dollars a day for a safe I did not even know was in the room, and 5 dollars a day for parking in the hotel parking lot. I could not find this policy written anywhere online. It was on a small sign in the lobby. However, since my card was charged in advance I was stuck.

Liked: Location and parking were excellent. The pool appears recently remodeled very nicely, and a great view. The beds are also very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel has not recovered since the hurricanes. The elevator doesn’t work. Most of the outlets in my room didn’t work. The lamp and ceiling fan light did not work. For $350 a night I would expect better.Breakfast filled the void, but that’s about it. Coffee cups were like shot glasses

Exceptional

Liked: Need more options, maybe a waffle maker. Just not a fan of all breads and pancakes .
Disliked: Every night we had to go and complain about kids at the pool drinking( underage) and wasn’t even staying at the hotel. I really like this place and have been coming for the past four years now, just not happy with how open it is to the public to just come swim and just hang out. But other than that it was great. Staff was very nice, food was ok but a waffle maker or something like that would be nice for the one who don’t like pancakes. But thank u so much for having us and hope to be back next year.

Worth the price :)

Liked: The breakfast was adequate, staff were friendly, and rooms were well-stocked and clean.
Disliked: That the elevator wasn’t working (we had a member of our party with an injured knee), that there was vomit smell by the pool area, and that many floor tiles around the pool were loose (made us worry extra for our injured family member)

Disliked: Bigs in our bathroom, ice machines broken, garbage under our beds

Disliked: Bugs on the towel, shower, beds. Terrible staff, not welcoming
