The Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe

We had a wonderful visit. It was a short stay but our room was very nice, clean, and the view was awesome!

Liked: Loved the beach area, tiki bar and music was great! The bed was comfortable and we liked the patio. The cleanliness was not great. Hand smuggles on the sliding doors and the walls and trim need to be wiped down. The toilet had debris behind the seat. There were 3 of us and only 2 towels.

Beautiful location & I love...

Liked: The location is amazing, but on my last day, which was a Friday, the beach was packed with people that didn’t seem like they were staying at the hotel.There was a DJ that was playing music by the bar area, but it was so loud that it wasn’t relaxing. I thought about staying an extra day, but choose a different hotel to stay at. This place is great during the week, but it looks like it gets inundated with partying on the weekend.

Liked: This is a great location. Easy access to beach. Love the firepits and smores. Nice to have access to a beach bar.
Disliked: The restaurant was a hot mess. One person running the restaurant and bar. We ordered food and waited 45 minutes....still no food and they had no idea when it would be ready. Felt sorry for the kid. You set him up to fail. Either staff it and keep it open or close it. Trying to run if with one person just pisses everyone off.Housekeeping never came in 3 days. Not once.
