Liked: Good location but I think the hotel are living off the fact that they are in a good location because nothing else about the hotel was good.
Disliked: Carpet old and dirty, tv didn’t work, crack in sink, rusted radiator, dirty cups - obviously not checked between guests. Breakfast was also really awful. Worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.

Liked: Great breakfast, like the tea and toast being made for you rather than having to DIYGood location. Quieter than I feared it might be at night
Disliked: The water in the bathroom not being fit to drink. I appreciate it's an old building and if the water comes via a header tank it would be difficult to change. However in that case bottled water should be supplied

Liked: Room was large and the ground floor which helped with access for one of our group, staff were very helpful especially the people working in the restaurant
Disliked: Felt the cooked breakfast could be improved limited choice

Disliked: Rooms need a good clean should have stayed 2 nights left on the Saturday and stayed double tree hilton on Saturday which was 1st class

Liked: Good location, friendly, helpful staff, good view
Disliked: Unfortunately a member of staff at breakfast didn't really understand English so trying to ask for plant milk for my tea was a no go.
