Hotel Description
Built in the 1820s the historic Grade II Listed Beach Hotel has a great location in the center of Brighton. It offers a popular restaurant and traditional rooms just 328 feet from the beach. There is a wide range of bars and restaurants within just a few minutes' walk of the hotel. Brighton's famous Pier the Royal Pavillion rail station and vibrant night life are all less than a mile away. All rooms at the Beach have a TV free tea and coffee facilities and many boast views of the sea front or West Pier. Each private bathroom also includes a hairdryer. Locally caught fish and seafood are served at The Regency Brighton's oldest restaurant. Guests can dine on the outdoor terrace with views of the West Pier. The i360 is directly opposite to the hotel. The Brighton Center is just a 3 minute walk.

Great location!

Liked: Tired rooms, but great location, helpful staff, basic but nice breakfast!Overall location location location!

Superb

Liked: The hotel was clean. Communal areas bright and spacious.Breakfast was greatStaff can not do enough for you.
Disliked: WIFI in the room we had was very hit and miss.

Good value for money.

Liked: The staff, the location, and the view from the room. The sitting area near the reception is very pretty and the chairs are comfortable. It's the main area for getting WiFi. Coffee at breakfast was great. The lift is an old fashioned one but I found charming, with it's concertina gate, that you had to push back to get in the lift and then swing forward to get in the lift.
Disliked: Okay, these are finer points, not big things. The decor in the bedroom could do with an uplift. The wardrobe doors didn't close properly, and they were noisy. The 'complimentary breakfast' was basic, but serviceable. As I say, small points.
