Disliked: Waiting for kitchen staff to materialise to give plates for breakfast or carvery

Great stay

Liked: Perfect location for the Bombay Sapphire tour. Room was cleaned thoroughly and food was excellent. Beds really comfy.

Liked: Young staff, obviously inexperienced but very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was good value especially the lighter option, and hotel was good value for money
Disliked: Only one key available per room,with the key fob needed to access the hotel so you couldn't just knock on the door for your partner to let you into the room. Communal areas were very shabby with stained chairs and sticky carpets.

Liked: Was near to the venue we needed to go too, was mostly one level 3/4 steps in one area. Was actually very quiet in the rooms and we didn’t hear the busy road. Plenty of seating in and outside. Late check out was fabulous.
Disliked: Looked a little tired inside and outside, could do with a little tlc. Some areas needed a good hoover. The bathrooms were very nice but the shower tray wasn’t adequate and the water from the shower went all over the floor. It was handy we had asked for extra towels. The beds are very hard, not so good for guests that require a softer slumber. Asked to use an iron and unfortunately it wasn’t too good, leaked and had marks on. Some new ones would be so beneficial also new ironing boards. The offer of small fridges in some of the rooms would help. Both I and my mother have medication that needs to be stored in the fridge. But this is a personal need for us.

Tired hotel

Liked: Good price and spacious room.
Disliked: Booked a double room but allocated a twin and as the hotel was fully booked they could not change.The room was clean and tidy but quite shabby and tired although I was told room are currently being refurbished.The food in the restaurant was served quickly by pleasant staff but we both felt the menu was very heavy on stodgy high calorie dishes. Not much in the way of healthy options.
