In Carlingford's center Belvedere House offers award-winning local cuisine at its Baytree Restaurant and elegant themed rooms with heated towel rails. Louth Baytree Restaurant uses Irish ingredients to provide modern Irish cuisine. Organic herbs lettuce and mustard is also grown in-house. Carlingford's narrow streets and medieval architecture include King John's Castle which is just 5 minutes' walk away. Great location, staff and beds

Liked: Very friendly staff and great location which contributed to the only fault which was the noise as our room was at the front, but not a major issue

We enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The location is great ,the restaurant is excellent, food great.No breakfast.
Disliked: The shower was hard to regulate ,temperature kept fluctuating. Breakfast should be on site.

Great food and staff.

Liked: Location is very central. It's a busy noisy spot, great for socializing. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.
Disliked: We were traveling with a baby and there was a lot of noise late into the night. This is no fault of the Baytree, but if you like an early night or a light sleeper.... maybe check for places a little further from center.
