Disliked: Location: room was above a noisy pub. No prior information given that it was owned and operated by the restaurant owner opposite (across a dual carriageway) where reception and car park was located and key available for collection. Single bed room was small and badly laid out; bed wasn’t very good quality; shower head was broken. Heating was too high and after turning radiator down was still too hot, even with window open. Entrance approach was littered with piles of rubbish.

Disliked: No double bed on check in it was 2 single beds. Called down to ask for a double as that’s what I book and staff at the restaurant were very rude and said that’s all they had. Even tho it wasn’t what I booked. Room was massive in size but was dirty and could do with a lick of paint. WiFi didn’t work. And there was no mention of the activity that was going on in the pub down below us. Now we fully understand that we were staying on top of a pub but I was told it’s a quite one but yet they had music playing till very late at night and it was so loud me and myHusband couldn’t speak to each other in the room because we couldn’t hear anything. Had to have the TV on fully to try and drown out the loudnes but didn’tWork.
