Fantastic place to stay in...

Liked: The food in the hotel at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfy and we had a good bathroom. The staff were excellent. There was plenty of parking. We were amazed at what we got for the price. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Disliked: We stayed in "Goldfinch" room. It was great for us but could be a problem with road noise for some people as the room faces a major road.

A perfect stay.

Liked: The warm welcome and introductory tour by Murray was exceptional. All other staff were polite and professional; and we enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast during our one-night stay. The Kingfisher room at the rear of the hotel, configured with a super king bed, was excellent and the room and bathroom were much larger than expected.And it was a short walk from Cheddar Gorge for our walk up and around it. Altogether a perfect stay. Thank you.

Disliked: It was very hot so a top sheet on bed would have been nice.
