Good stay at a hotel...

Liked: The staff at this hotel were very helpful, and the room was a reasonable size. The location was close to the riverside and about a 20 minute walk to 'downtown' restaurants. Some smaller cafes are only a few minutes walk away. There is a shuttle to take you to locations within a short distance.
Disliked: The hotel is showing its age, with the rooms needing a refurbishment. This should not stop you from staying there, but be mindful that it is an older hotel. The on-site restaurant is not open for lunch, which is not ideal.

Liked: The friendliness of the staff and the location of my room.
Disliked: Would have liked another chair, since there were two of us, for just talking and relaxing, rather than having to use the bed.

Exceptional

Liked: The location was great and you can easily get to and from hotel by shuttle. Also my kids loved the pool which had plenty of seating for relaxation
Disliked: The dinner staff at the restaurant were not very pleasant but I'm not sure if that was separate from the hotel.

It was wonderful! We appreciate...

Liked: My roommate and I were truly impressed with the entire staff. The SHUTTLE was amazing (Felix & Dara especially). Melissa at the front desk. Lara with housekeeping. Complimentary laundry was such a welcomed amenity. The Barrymore’s proximity to Armature Works was perfect! We walked there daily. The property is so well kept & exceptionally clean! Beautiful views of the River Walk. We csnt say enough & thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed!
Disliked: Restaurant needs more staff for busy times. Everyone was nice but overwhelmed.
