Dirty grungy gross freezing nightmare,...

Liked: Nothing, it was the worst experience at a hotel ever ZERO stars! Was greatly looking forward to it but wildly dissapointed and disgusted. Major false advertisement.
Disliked: The room was terrible, freezing cold no heat, so dirty and grungy looking, we didn't take our shoes off as the carpets were all dirty and very badly stained so disgusting, we slept with our clothes on as the room was just so groce and you just cant sleep in a place like that, there could have been bugs or even mice it was so dark and dingy and gross, that's how the place made you feel so awful, one person wouldn't even get in the bed and slept on top of the bed wrapped in their own clothes freezing, the other although scared to get in the bed was so frozen that that person had no choice but to get under the blankets wearing their clothes, it was the most horrible experience ever. Also we wouldn't shower (tub was clean but you just felt so disgusting you would never get undressed anywhere in that room) we got half ready in our car after we left. Also, the toilet would barely flush and seemed like it was going to overflow every time you flushed it so we tried to use it as little as possible. Can you imagine going to work/ medical appointment so exhausted and not ready ugh after that experience, its frankly outrageous!!! And we were slammed at check in with an unexpected parking fee $30 for a place blocks from the hotel, walked back. No fridge our food spoiled. The check in staff was NOT friendly in anyway, & didnt direct us where to go, we sought other help. Oh, we tried the tv to see if it worked since it was the most important TV night in Canadian history, the 2025 election, but no, that wouldn't even work but we didn't care as we weren't comfortable enough to relax, we had to distract ourselves with our cell phones and wait for the night to be over. You could also hear people talking constantly. Many hotels were the same price, we had no idea we would end up in this nightmare. We drove 5 hrs, arrived in the dark in heavy traffic, in an unfamiliar city, if not for that, we would have left immediately!! Major false advertisement!!

Pleasant stay but a few...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good in the restaurant (paid separately). I was impressed with the small pool and gym for the size of the hotel. The rooms were also a decent size.
Disliked: Decoration of the rooms was a little outdated and it was a shame the bar and restaurant closed at 10pm. If was also let down by attention to detail such as incomplete drinks in room (only one tea bag, no bottles of water) and toiletries in the bathroom (empty shower gel, no sanitary disposal bags). However these are small complaints and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Good hotel. Good location.

Liked: The room (#212) had everything I needed: comfy bed, large bathroom, mini-fridge, tv, coffee/tea. I did not notice much noise coming from adjoining rooms or from the street, so I was able to get a good night's sleep. The location was very good. The airport bus dropped you off right across the street from the hotel. There were lots of restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The staff was efficient, no issues checking in and out. The price I paid was more than fair.
Disliked: The hotel was listed as a 4-star hotel on Booking.com, but it was more like a 3 or 3.5-star hotel. The furniture was a bit dated and worn. Nobody came to change the towels or tidy up the room during my four night stay. You could have requested the service, but for a 4-star hotel, you shouldn't have to do that. If this was a 3-star hotel, I would have been very happy. For a 4-star-hotel, it was just a bit underwhelming. All things considered, I would stay here again.
