Baron Hotel meets my needs.

Liked: comfortable mattress
Disliked: overhead shower.

Where was the beer?

Liked: Good sized room with pleasant outlook. Sufficient storage space. Well appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning. Television and ironing facility were handy.
Disliked: The flex on the bedside lamp wasn't long enough to reach the nearest socket, rendering it not fit for purpose.The telephone didn't have a phone socket so no remote access to reception. The wardrobe door didn't fasten. We could have done with a second chair and more hangers.We assumed we were unable to use the bar. The receptionist didn't explain the facilities in house and we were directed to local eateries 'around the corner'.A tourist desk was advertised but this amounted to a self service rack with two leaflets (the map was useful though).One hand towel wasn't replaced for our final night.

Disliked: They didn't have a refrigerator or a microwave in the rooms.. and that they didn't have an ice machine. had to ask the front desk every time

Liked: Great location. Offers just the basics but really comfortable.

Disliked: Elevator. Rooms were old and basic. Bathroom had sliding door that was loud and didn’t close all the way. Toilet was so close to door it was difficult to use. Room was tiny.

Terrific midrange boutique hotel in...

Liked: Terrific mid range hotel in the heart of DC.Excellent location, great staff, quiet rooms, good food street nearby, close to subway, friendly people all abouts. The hotel being a premier comedy venue was an amazing bonus yet it didn’t make it noisy at all.
Disliked: The odd shaped room made the big bed a tight fit - but that’s looking for negatives.
