Fantastic place to stay

Liked: The location was great. You could Park outside until 8am. But then I had to move to a carpark opposite where I had to pay £5.00 for 4 hrs. The carpark advertises it at £8 per day. However when you enter and try and pay by their website 'ParkIn', it's in fact £10. Unfortunately There was no room to park in the hotels designated parking areas down the side of hotel or opposite. Our room was on floor 3 , room 29. Pleasant room. Quality firm mattress. Blind did not fit window properly, so my daughter was woken up with light coming through the large gap by the side. You could not pull the blind up at all on the other window. Brilliant shower/bathroom facilities. Very modern, and the amplifier fridge was very different. The large television was great as well.The breakfast was lovely, and was included in the price I paid for our room. The gentleman that served us breakfast was very accommodating. I lost my purse outside property when I moved my car early morning , half asleep , unbeknown to me!. And someone brought it into reception. I am so grateful to whoever did this. There are good honest people out there .Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient place to stay. And everyone that worked there were kind with us and extremely accomodating.
Disliked: Not a massive dislike , they were still lovely, however On the Eggs Benedict I had slices of ham, rather than crispy bacon as advertised on menu.And unfortunately that morning there was no berry compote for my daughters pancakes.So nothing major was wrong.

The hotel was ok, just...

Liked: The entrance to the hotel was nice, liked the flower display. The room was spacious , and the bed was comfy. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: We arrived during the heatwave, there was only one window that opened slightly, there was a fan in the room as there is no Air con. The sink in the bathroom although it was nice it was not ideal, apparently this is where you fill your kettle from, even though you couldn’t get the kettle under the tap. Bring some bottled water if you want a cuppa.
