Liked: The hotel ....we've stayed a few times before....was amazing as per usual. The staff are fantastic and go the extra mile.
Disliked: The heat was unbearable and this made it very difficult to sleep. Sofa bed was uncomfortable...you could feel the springs unfortunately.

Very good

Very cool, very unique, but...

Liked: The room we had was beautifully decorated, very hipster and unique. The mirror was a personal favourite of mine :) The bed was comfy, the breakfast was good, but the staff were excellent. Our room got very hot due to the weather and we couldn't cool down and at 2am the boy at the reception desk went completely out of his way to source a fan for us from an empty room and we were so so so grateful. He saved us from having two extremely sleepless nights.
Disliked: The hotel could really benefit from having some kind of air con system, it's an old building so it really does trap the heat inside. I don't think it helped that our room was one of the smaller ones also, and of course with the hotel windows not opening much at all there's not enough airflow to cool the room down even at night when the air outside is cooler.

Disliked: Far too hot yes there was a fan but it was only moving warm air round Invest in small air con units

Great location as we were...

Liked: The themed music vibe. Quirkyness of the building. The spacey room,comfortable bed and excellent rain shower! Great value for money.
Disliked: Dark rooms little daylight. Low ceilings. Incredibly hot on night we stayed. No aircon,fan that gave little or no relief. Long wait for average cooked breakfast.

Always my first choice

Liked: I always stay at The Baltic.It's just the right amount of quirky sprinkled with style. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a car park across the road.
