I would stop again!

Liked: Jim was a champ guiding me in when I lost my mapping and didn’t know where to go. Very helpful and hospitable. The hotel has been renovated and was very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: A long time for hot water to make it to shower, but it gets there and is quite nice. Maybe a warning sign ?

Would stay again, but would...

Liked: The building was unique in character which we enjoyed. Good location, very friendly front desk attendant. Very clean as well, nicely renovated.
Disliked: We booked a superior Queen but did not get that room. The bed may have still been a queen size but the room was not the superior one as advertised. May have been booking.com error? We called direct first and they had no available rooms but was still showing the superior room available on booking .com site. We payed quite a bit more than our travelling partners who got a king size bed, a credenza, better view, and more space. Not sure what happened.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was great and had everything I look for in a stay (fridge/freezer combo, kitchen sink + basic dishes and cutlery, bathtub, storage). Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Cranbrook.
