Liked: Great location, perfect for a stay in Grantham

Quiet, friendly, would stay there...

Liked: Safe, off road parking, around back of hotel. Great bar, cheap pints and huge screen. All staff, owners/managers and cleaners were very friendly and informative. I felt I could buy a take-away and eat it with a pint in the bar if I wanted to. Bar got busy on evenings with others staying in the hotel. Hotel appeared to be fully booked (NO VACANCY sign in window), but it was still quiet.
Disliked: I was a bit concerned about shared shower and bathroom (seemed very old B&B style), but it was very clean, two seperate toilets between three rooms and there was a large sink in the room for washing and teeth cleaning.Grantham really is a one or two day destination, you need transport to visit out-of-town National Trust properties and castles, etc.

Liked: This hotel was absolutely ideal for our weekend stay in Grantham. We stayed as a group of 6 old school friends (now in our 70's) and it perfectly suited our needs. There is ample parking, we were warmly welcomed by Tracey and Martin, and our rooms were fine and spacious. It's located just a few minutes easy walk into the town centre, so we could put our cars away for the weekend. We used the hotel bar for relaxing and chatting, and we were well looked after during our stay. The breakfast was superb, and this hotel is great value for the facilities it provides.
Disliked: Nothing at all, all of our party agreed it was one of the best hotels and reunions ever !
