The Avalon Hotel and Conference Center

Just what was expected. Close to Erie Insurance Arena with a place to park. Bed was OK; shower good; friendly staff.

Liked: Had a good trip.
Disliked: Continental breakfast was weak. Loud guests in halls late at night.

Most of the staff were rude. The rooms were noisy and dirty.

Disliked: It was closed. I can't believe booking .Com would book me this place it was closed a year for a year and I made reservations 4 months ago. Huk

Liked: The hotel was closed for good when I arrived I recieved no notification . I hope they did not take money for the room You tried to call and The phone just hung up. There were sketchy people hanging around it. Bad area.Arriving at nite had to quickly find another place to stay. Local businesses said they were sold and making them into apartments. Very unprofessional to book hotel and arrive late out of town to not know this and have a hotel to stay in. Dangerous area. Boarded up with plywood How could Booking .com allow this to happen? You need to Do better. There are many other sites to book hotels with..

Liked: The hotel closed before we got there and left us with little time to find another hotel which was not in walking distance which was what I was looking for

Liked: When we got there the place was closed down and they didn't inform you guys st allI had to hurry up and find a new place to stay.
