The Spotlight on The Atrium Resort Virginia Beach by Vacatia

Relaxed Suites Just Steps from the Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Modern, laid-back, and just a 2-minute walk from the vibrant Virginia Beach Boardwalk, The Atrium Resort Virginia Beach by Vacatia offers spacious suite-style accommodations with all the comforts of home. This 3-star eco-friendly resort is perfect for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action while enjoying a bit of peace and quiet when the show’s over. With free Wi-Fi, on-site gym access, and an indoor pool with a hot tub, it's a great base for music lovers making the most of their visit.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything — and this resort delivers. You're just a short stroll from oceanfront venues and a quick drive to others like the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. The suites offer a quiet retreat, especially valuable after a loud night out. With check-in at 4:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM, there's just enough flexibility to fit most travel plans. Free parking for one vehicle per unit is a bonus for those driving in for a show.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends who want to crash together after a concert in spacious suites
- Solo travelers catching a bucket-list artist and seeking a clean, central home base
- Couples planning a romantic weekend with music and beach vibes
- Fans who prefer a quieter space to recharge after a high-energy show
- Budget-conscious music lovers looking for great value near the beach

Food and Drink Options

While there's no full-service restaurant on-site, each suite includes a kitchen with a fridge and microwave, letting you whip up late-night snacks or a quick breakfast after a late one. Plus, you're just steps from a variety of local restaurants and eateries along the Boardwalk — many of which stay open late during concert season.

Nightlife Options

The hotel itself is more chill than party-central, but it’s in the heart of Virginia Beach’s nightlife. You’ll find bars, beach lounges, and live music spots all within walking distance. Whether you’re into dive bars or craft cocktails, there’s something nearby to keep the night going after the encore.

What People Say

Guests love the location, praising the easy walk to the beach and nearby attractions. The spacious suites and in-room kitchens are a big hit, especially for longer stays or friend groups. Reviewers also appreciate the indoor pool and hot tub as a relaxing post-concert perk.

Areas for Improvement

The décor is a bit dated compared to some newer resorts, and the 10 AM check-out might feel early after a late night. Though it’s not a full-service hotel, the suite setup makes up for it with space and convenience. Just don’t expect daily housekeeping or fancy extras.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers looking for space, comfort, and a prime location near Virginia Beach's music scene, The Atrium Resort Virginia Beach by Vacatia hits all the right notes.

It was OK. The price...

Liked: The staff was fine. The room was clean.
Disliked: Our room was not ready on time. There was only one elevator. The facility was OK for a hotel. The name "Resort" was a misnomer. It's not a resort, and it's too far from the beach for us.

We enjoyed our stay and...

Liked: The staff was very friendly. The room was big with a small kitchenette. It was a little farther from the beach than we are used to, but we didn’t mind the walk. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as mini golf.
Disliked: The pillows were not very comfortable.
