Good
Liked: Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was very spacious.
Disliked: It would be nice to have a few more equipment to eat at the hotel (kettle, mug, etc.), as you have to take the car or order food to eat. Maybe just for breakfast?

We made the best of...
Liked: Location staff and value
Disliked: The room was absolutely clean however when it was time for bed my daughter found a bed bug in one of the beds and that changed everything also the other bed had 2 roaches under the pillow so I took it all off and checked and I used my own pillows and blankets that I traveled with

Very disappointing
Disliked: There was no life in the hotel. At the time.of checking in only one water bottle was available for the two of us to share. Coffee machine was not available in the morning. Room decoration was minimal and didnt feel welcoming

A fun time thwarted!
Liked: The Atlantic was a short drive to East Hampton
Disliked: The first red flag was when we pulled up to the hotel and it looked closed. There were basically zero cars in the parking lot. That should have told us everything. Next when I went in to check in, the front desk clerk was on the phone arguing with a customer over their cancellation policy, and room rate. She kept telling the person that the rate for the night was $285 and I had booked for $500. Second red flag. They told us that the room was not ready and would not be until later in the day. The hotel was empty and that seemed weird, but okay. When I got back into the car the expression on my wife’s face told me everything. She said she was scared to stay there because there were no cars and there were doors wide open and no sign of guests. My wife and I had driven up from Delaware to watch our daughter run in the Hampton Marathon. She lived in the city and was supposed to meet us in town at the train station and we were going to stay the night before the race. My daughter called and said she tested positive for Covid and wasn’t going to make it. We thought about staying the night and enjoying the town the next day, but after the deciding that the place looked empty, and the treatment of the customer over their cancellation policy and the clear no refund documents, we decided to drive home. We did get a call from the hotel around 9pm asking us if we were checking in, and at that point I told them about my daughter. The woman said she would see if they could do something about a possible refund and that she would have the manager call on monday. Well the manager never called. So we are out $500 on a room that should have been $285 and I know where I will not be staying next year when my daughter runs in the marathon. I was disappointed in how they treated us and would have liked at least a call?

Was charged over $688 for...
Disliked: We booked this hotel to attend a golf tournament and planned to spend the night, and because of inclement weather the tournament was cancelled and driving 125 miles to Long Island was unsafe. We never stayed at the hotel. We were charged the full amount for the rooms over $688. with no compensation. Beware if you book here. I was given the run around from the Atlantic and from Booking.
